Sanctuary and More in Nyack

For those who harbor hopes of not only seeking but finding sanctuary,owner and designer Laura Gould of Sanctuary,60 South Broadway in Nyack has indeed created one.

Although I sometimes have a Buddist-like lack of attachment to the aggregation of material objects,items and clothing,Ifind myself,from time to time,wandering into Santuary and wanting to stay-to linger.And I thinkl that yes,I would like to possess a wonderful object or two.And that the beautiful colors,shapes and textiles of the clothing in the store could entice me into something other than the black,which,I delude myself into thinking,is my look.I always wear black.Always.But I could be swayed from the Dark Side and move with not to much difficulty intothe Light.

I am lured into Laura's shop because it feels good.You can feel the good intensios,respect for other culture and ways of existing and you can also feel that Laura Gould believes that her store is a life style store with a conscious philosophy of supporting artists,fair trade and organic clothing.
